I played the beta on PC and the servers were much better than all the other EA games combined. Lag was minimal and there was no punkbuster kicking me out every 20 seconds and I actually had no problems joining matches.
I agree. People keep saying it's just Call of Duty with mechs but that is so not true. The only thing Titanfall has in common with CoD is that they're both First Person Shooters other than that Titanfall is much better.
I was skeptical before the beta but right after the beta ended I pre-ordered the game which is not something I do often.
I spent over 10 hours in the beta and I liked the game so much.
@Hicken
Really! That's your argument? This is the reason N4G is such a joke because people like you take this personally and all the trolling as some form of payback. So because some fanboys did it a few years ago, you must become a fanboy and do the same thing and then the cycle of stupidity continues, and in 7 years when new consoles are released and the other camp has the more powerful console they go on offense and you go in defense and this stupid fanboy so-called w...
I'm no expert on the matter but I know a few things. However, up-scaling isn't necessarily as simple as stretching a smaller image to fit a larger resolution. There are many techniques used for up-scaling an image. The simplest would be what you mentioned (that would be making the actual pixels bigger to achieve the desired resolution) which is not what the Xbox One or even the 360 does.
Everyone here talks like they are some graphics guru but the fact is they have no...
@MetaphoricalTank
No, Kirby is wrong. And yes in the case of the Xbox 360 and PS3, the X360 had a really good scalar that allowed it to output almost all games at 1080p while that wasn't true for the PS3. That's why in the example Kirby used (Mass Effect 3/Bioshock Infinite) the X360 version could output to 1080p while the PS3 was limited to 720p.
What all this means is, if you have a 1080p TV, the X360 will scale the picture from 720p to 1080p which ...

Titanfall>No Titanfall
No. It basically comes to this; when it's PS4 vs XboxOne, it's all about the graphics. When it's PC vs PS4, it's all about the gameplay.
I love Bungie and I'm so looking forward to playing Destiny but I also agree with you. The art style just screams Halo and no one can deny it, not that it is a bad things, I was just hoping Bungie made Destiny look distinctly different than Halo.
It looks nothing like the Dreamcast.
@Hicken So let's say I don't own a Toyota Camry neither do I plan on getting one...ever, why should I care about any problems the Toyota Camry has/had and that are going to be fixed?
Nah. It's only possible when Sony says so! Remember?
There are funny memes but this one isn't.
@sypher in 10 years you could just torrent a cracked version of the game and given that you originally bought the game, this isn't considered piracy.
How dare they open a store and try to sell me things? This is preposterous!
I don't mind gay scenes in my games as long as they feature only women.
As a straight man I wouldn't want to see two men getting it on. Say whatever you want but it disgusts me. And before someone calls me a hypocrite, it's not the same thing! a straight man liking lesbian action and disliking dudes doing it is a perfectly normal scenario.
Samsung TVs have a hidden service menu that can be accessed by pressing a combination on the TV remote control. Changing settings within the service menu could potentially brick your TV. If I access the service menu and brick my TV, is it Samsung's fault for having the menu or is it mine for doing something I shouldn't?
"Japanese cartoons" It's called "Anime".
The worst offender of cutscene use.
@diehardmetallicafan saying "Haha it's the digital copy of Titanfall"
You talk like that is a bad thing! Well, maybe for you it is. I prefer digital and people also seem to ignore the fact that when you buy content digitally on Xbox you're essentially getting two copies for the price of one. You get a copy(license) tied to your account and another tied to your Home Xbox.
